English Game Localization Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Integrate Western cultural understanding and game world-building techniques to localize story, gameplay, event, etc. text from Chinese into flawless and captivating English.

2. Research Western players’ behaviors and synthesize hardcore players’ feedback to continuously improve word choice, UI presentation, representation of values, etc. to better reflect Western market tastes.

3. Manage community of volunteer translators, maintaining clear communication, efficient translation processes, and high translation quality across all languages.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or above.

2. Excellent writing skills.

3. Passionate about games. Excited to seek long-term growth within the gaming industry.

4. Native English speakers with excellent Chinese ability (written and spoken) strongly preferred. Native Chinese speakers with documented English ability (TEM8, IELTS 7.5 or higher, TOEFL 105 or higher) will also be considered.

5. Previous Chinese-to-English translation experience in the gaming/movie/TV/manga industries strongly preferred.
